THE LITTLE CARNIVAL CAPITAL
Home of the State’s Oldest Mardi Gras celebration outside New Orleans!

New Roads will host its greatest Mardi Gras in 88 years, with whimsical floats, fantastic marching bands and dance teams; the most lavish royal floats, costumes and regalia ever; tons of neat throws including specially minted doubloons, glass beads and stuffed animals; comic maskers, great local cuisine, midway rides and that wonderful old Creole hospitality for lagniappe.

A special “bienvenue” is extended to all of our first-time parade-goers and, as always, “bienvenue encore” to all of our return visitors. Merci beaucoup and God bless you, one and all, for your support of this charitable fundraising event!
